You are a business man, making manifolds. You want to be shown to be making the 'best' product, so you take the two to an 'independent' shop, which says your product is worse! SO: What do you do? You either- A: don't advertise the results at all B: Take it to another 'independent' shop, again and again, until you find one that finds yours is the best Also, HOW do we know that Vuk didn't consciously, or subconsciously give his parts an advantage? We have no idea about the MSP set he tested (was it used previously? Had it just come out of the box directly from mike smith, or was it used for other things that could have changed them in some way?), and we have no idea whether the set he used from AMS were hand-picked or not. Was it chosen with the same 'randomness' that na300zx (OH) got?
These are the EXACT reasons that Consumer Reports actually buys their products in the store. Also- When casting, every part that comes out of the cast is going to be slightly different. This can affect the flow results, as well as the sizes. In my opinion, the results show that the parts are basically identical. Finally- This test is the best of all that have been done, since it includes installation on the head w/ gasket, since THAT is how it is going to be installed. It is the best representation of real-world usage.
